What is Reiki?
Reiki, meaning “universal life energy” in Japanese, is a natural healing system designed to promote well-being and spiritual renewal. Founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, Reiki is a gentle yet powerful practice that helps restore balance and harmony within the body.
Reiki is open to all belief systems and can be used alongside conventional or complementary treatments to enhance overall well-being.
As a trained Reiki Practitioner, I provide a safe and calming space where you can experience the profound benefits of this healing technique.
Reiki is given fully clothed in a quiet environment where client comfortably lies down or sits on a chair. The practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively, on or near the body using their intuition and training as a guide. There is no massage or manipulation. Reiki can be used on the person as a whole, or on specific parts of the body. It is also possible to receive Reiki at a distance.
